Women’s Entrepreneurship Day is the largest initiative in the world to promote entrepreneurship and financial development of women, which is celebrated in 144 countries, including Poland.

Women’s Entrepreneurship Day is a social movement aimed at supporting and enhancing the entrepreneurial positions of women in the world, as well as creating a team of leaders in each country to strengthen key leadership skills, such as international cooperation and communication. Women’s Entrepreneurship Day is also an opportunity to honor business women who have been successful and inspire others, and at the same time to pay attention to why it is worth investing in female entrepreneurship.

This initiative was launched by Wendy Diamond, CEO & Founder of Women’s Entrepreneurship Day, the author of bestellers, TV star in the United States. Thanks to her commitment, November 19 was declared the Women’s Entrepreneurship Day (WED) and was celebrated for the first time in 2014 at the United Nations headquarters in New York. However, the Women’s Entrepreneurship Day initiative is not just one day a year, but a global social movement promoting entrepreneurship among women.

WED World Ambassadors are the world’s leading women in business. WED Ambassadors create the movement in their countries by collaborating with Government Officials, Women’s Empowerment and Business Organizations/Foundations, and Influential Business People to support our mission.

Poland is represented by two WED World AmbassadorsUrszula Ciołeszyńska – Founder and President of International Network of Women Entrepreneurship Ambassadors and Sylwia Mokrysz – Member of the Board of MOKATE, Women Entrepreneuship Ambassador.
